What will I learn in the course?

- You will learn the processes we use to get a story into the media and also shed some light on some of the tips, tricks and techniques the media might use to their advantage and highlight which ones are vital to be aware of

- We will help you plan for your upcoming media appearances, running through the do's and don'ts, common mistakes and give you some tools to help you stay on message.
Do you offer a bespoke media training?
Yes, if you would like to have a bespoke media training session for your company or team please get in touch. Our bespoke session includes:
- We will undertake preliminary research/discussion to customise media training to meet your needs and address the organisation’s challenges
- The course would be interactive and include a practical experience giving participants a chance to learn the key lessons of media training
- The course is led by our media trainer, plus an additional facilitator to act in the journalist role when the course is face to face
- Includes video facilities and playback during session
- Course will include: overview of the media (local/specialist/national), how to successfully communicate with the media, how to identify stories and create news, tailored and relevant interview scenario for each participant
- Our bespoke training can be hosted face to face if your business is based in the Channel Islands or Isle of Man or virtually via Microsoft Teams of Zoom. Face to face sessions must include a minimum of six people.
How long will the course take to complete?
The course duration is one hour long however you can pause and come back to the training needed. We would recommend that it's completed in one sitting if possible.
